Chantel Aveta was born and raised in the vibrant neighborhood of East Harlem, also known as El Barrio, in the heart of New York City. Growing up in a culturally rich environment, Chantel developed a deep appreciation for her Latina heritage and a strong sense of community.

After getting married , Chantel made the decision to move to New Jersey, where she currently resides with her husband. It was during this transition of failed IVF’s and multiple miscarriages and learning about harmful chemicals that causes hormonal imbalances that she discovered her passion for creating non-toxic candles and products. Combining her faith and entrepreneurial spirit, Chantel founded Chasing Grace Candles, a company that offers a unique line of Christian-based products.
